Sri Shastha Keshadhipadha Varnnana Sthothram – Lyrics and meanings

I shall always  meditate upon the lotus feet of Lord Shastha who is initiated from the desires of Esha and Keshava, he is the Lord of the Universe, he is too compassionate, he has the luster of full moon, he eradicates all misfortune, adversities, calamities, and destruction.  I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Shastha who is Harinandhana, he is wielded in armor, he has lustrous hair locks, his attractive limbs are adorned in ornaments that make tinkling noises,  I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Shastha who is the son of Hari, he is decked in garlands that gently moves on both the sides, he has attractive nose, red lips and eyes, he is Pramadhadhinatha who is the sustainer of the Universe and its living beings,  I shall prostrate before the  lotus feet of Shastha who is Bhoothapathi/Lord of living beings, he is decked in magnificent earrings that spreads intense luster all over the neck areas, he is decorated with the mark of Pundareeka/auspicious mark on the forehead, he is appeared as a son of Hari and Hara  on the river bed, he symbolizes piousness,  I shall always prostrate before Prabhapathi who is unbound and he has powerful two arms wielded in Kodhanda and arrows, he is extremely valorous, he has supreme radiance of sun in the early hours of dawn,  I shall always prostrate before Lord Shastha who is the Prathinidhi /representative of Mukundha/Lord Vishnu  bluish complexioned, pure and attired in fine clothes and Kalanthaka/Lord Shiva who has won over death , he has the luster of pollen of lotus flowers, he eradicates impurities of the worshiper,  I shall always prostrate before Lord Shastha who destroys the clan of enemies, whose lotus feet are venerated by illustrious Rishis and Sages, he eradicates the severe illness of  wordly existence of the worshiper, he is the son of Puranthaka who is the destroyer of Pura and Muranthaka who is the destroyer of Mura,  I shall prostrate before Prathamayoodhapathi who is supremely charming, he has the luster of alluring flower, he has great effulgence and attractive physical features, he symbolizes peace and he is appeared on Earth,  Oh! Bhoothesha/Lord of living beings, Oh! Karunamritha who symbolizes stream of nectar of kindness/ocean of mercy, Oh! Varadha, who is the provider of abundance of boons to worshiper, he is flawless; he is closest companion of his devotees, Oh! Bhagavan, kindly guide us allthrough the unfathomable as well as intimidating ocean of Samsara.  Oh! Bhoothanatha, Oh! Bhagavan, kindly bless us with perpetual devotion at your lotus feet,  I shall always prostrate before the supreme Lord  who is the Lord of the Universe, kindly guide us to cross the ocean of samsara.
