eradicates miseries and sorrows of distressed people, he is Prabhu who is
imperishable, I shall meditate upon Lord
Lakshminaraya who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, he is ocean
of mercy, he is Achyutha who is safest heaven to people who are surrendered at
his lotus feet, I shall meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana who eradicates
miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, he is too compassionate to his
worshiper, he is the essence of devotion, he symbolizes virtues, I shall
meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the
worshiper, he is most reliable companion of all the living beings, he is
flawless, I shall meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana who eradicates miseries
and sorrows of the worshiper, he dwells in the intellect of the living beings,
he is the source of Universe and its living beings, he is beyond human
intellect, he is the provider of abundance of boons to worshiper, I shall
meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the
worshiper, he is divine personified decked in Shankha and Chakram, he is the
commander of the world, he is too compassionate, I shall meditate upon Lord

attired in majestic yellow garment, he is Vishnu who is decked in various
precious ornaments all over his body, I shall meditae upon Lord Lakshminarayana
who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, his both the hands are in
Abhya and Varadha hastha posture, I shall meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana
who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper, whoever reads or listens to
the glorious verses of Lakshminarayana Ashtakam during the early hours of dawn
would be relieved from all kinds of sins and attain the abode of Lord Vishnu, I
shall repeatedly prostrate before Lord Rama who is beloved of the whole world,
he eradicates miseries and perils of the worshiper, he is the provider of
abundance of wealth to worshiper, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Lord Govinda
who eradicates miseries and grief of devotees, Lord Hari who is Paramathma personified as
Krishna and Vasudeva as well.
