I shall prostrate before sacred river
Kaveri who is divine personified as beautiful young daughter of King Kavera,
she is embodied as sacred watercourse and she is highly honored by all, I shall take refuge at the lotus feet of
Goddess Kaveri who is lovely, pleasant, and cheerful, kindly be gracious to us. I shall prostrate before sacred river Kaveri
who is worshiped by all the deities, she is pure, she is divine embodied as
sacred watercourse, she is Parthpara, she is the purifier of souls, she is flawless,
she is divine embodied as sacred water course and her lotus feet are highly
propitious in the three worlds, Oh! Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us. I shall
prostrate before sacred river Kaveri, who is eulogized by Veda, she is pure and
has attractive flow, her sacred water course is the shelter place of pious and
Yogis, she takes immense pleasure in the nearness of Rangesha/Lord Ranganatha,
Oh! Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us. I
shall prostrate before sacred river Kaveri who is too compassionate to her
worshiper, she is the provider of abundance of fortune to worshiper, she is
eternal, she is the source of all kinds of auspiciousness on the Earth, she is
highly propitious, she is pure, she is also known as Dhakshinadhesha Ganga, Oh!
Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us. I
shall prostrate before sacred river Kaveri, who eradicates all the evil effects
of Kali era, she is merciful, her eyes has the resemblance to lotus flower
petals, her sacred watercourse has the fragrance of flowers of Kadamba and
Kalhara, Oh! Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us.
I shall prostrate before sacred river Kaveri, who is eternal, she is
divine embodied as sacred river, she is pure and she is the source of liberation
from repeated births, she liberates the souls from the miseries and sorrows of
worldly existence, she is originated from the hills of Sahyadhri, she has various forms, Oh! Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us. I shall prostrate before
sacred river Kaveri, who lined her water course close to the divine shrine, she
is one of the prominent sacred rivers on the Earth originated from Choladhesham,
Oh! Kaveri, kindly be gracious to us.
Oh! Kaveri, who symbolizes auspiciousness, kindly be gracious to us, Oh!
Kaveri, who is purifier of souls, she eradicates the worldly desires of the
worshiper, kindly be gracious to us, I shall prostrate before sacred river
Kaveri who symbolizes sacred syllable ‘Kakara’ which eradicates impurities in
humans, I shall prostrate before sacred river Kaveri who symbolizes sacred
syllable ‘Vakara’ which fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, I shall
prostrate before sacred river Kaveri who symbolizes the sacred syllable ‘Rikara’
which provides Moksha to worshiper.

I shall prostrate before Mahabhaga/highly
fortunate, most venerable, who is embodied as sacred water course, she is
Mahadevi who is stunningly gorgeous, she fulfils all the desires of the
worshiper, she is divine who provides abundance of merits to her
worshiper who takes dip in her holy water, she eradicates all the sins of the
worshiper, Oh! Devi, kindly destroy my sins, she is Kaveri/Kaverakanya who is
the daughter of King Kavera, she is beloved
consort of ocean, Oh! Devi, kindly provide
us Bhukthi as well Mukthi, she is divine embodied as sacred watercourse, a tributary
of river Sindhu, she is ocean of mercy, Oh! Devi, kindly purifies me with the
drops of your sacred water course, Oh! Devi, kindly bless with appropriate and
virtuous female companion/Sthriyam, virtuous offspring/Sutham, wealth/Shriyam,
long life/Ayush, good health/Arogyam, liberates from the debts born with/
Rinamukthi, Oh! Kaveri who is originated as sacred water course from the hills
of Sahyadhri, she prominent in the world, she eradicates miseries and sorrows
of the worshiper.
