Sundari/beautiful one, once again I shall narrate those glorious vereses to you,
Oh! Bhavathi, you are most beloved to me, you are superior to my Prana, Oh!
Mohini/fascinating, Oh! Parameshvari, I
can not live even a second without you. Oh! Amale/pure, I could well perceive
all those evident in the beginning of the Universe, Oh! Devi, listen to me
carefully about those sacred hymns which could provide all the auspiciousness,
it was composed by Rishi Sadhashiva, Anushtup as its Chandhass, presiding deity
is Bhairava Devatha, it is recited to attain Purusharththa/Dharma, Arththa,
Kama, and Moksha, it is capable to fulfil all the desires of the worshiper. Goddess Mahakali is the source of Universe
and its living beings, she is the Mother of Universe and its living beings, she
is embodied as Universe, she is the supreme Goddess of the Universe, she is the
essence of the Universe and its living beings, she is the source of happiness
in the Universe, she causes deluge at
the end of each Yuga/absorbs the Universe and its living beings, she is Gauri
who has fair complexion, she eradicates the sufferings of poverty, miseries and
sorrows of the worshiper, she is Bhairavabhavani, she is eternal, she provide
excellence in speech and intellect, she
is the provider of Chathurvargaphala, she is virtuous, she symbolizes
auspiciousness, she is Bhadhrakali , she is Vishalakshi who has wide and
beautiful eyes, she fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, she represents
all art forms, she is Neelavani, she is fair and she has attractive limbs, she
is beyond description, she provides abundance of wealth to worshiper, she has
boisterous voice, she represents all colors, she is stunningly georgous, she is inseparable from Lord Shiva, she destroyed
the demon Mahishasura, she immerses in the veneration of Lord Shiva, she is the
delight of Lord Shiva, she is worshiped by Dhanava and Indhra, she symbolizes supreme
wisdom and knowledge, she is Sharva who fulfils all the desires of the worshiper,
she has most beautiful limbs, she bestow abundance of boons to worshiper/disperse
fruit of Karma as well, she has lustrous face resembles to full moon, she has
the complexion of dark clouds, she is Kapalini who is wielded in garlands made
of skulls, she is Kurukulla who lures the intellect of Vipra/Bhramin, she lures
the hearts of worshiper with her mesmerizing beauty, she is highly enthusiastic
and takes immense pleasure in the consumption of nectar, her eyes are soaked in
the elixir of nectar, she holds skull on her hand and she is decked in garlands
of skull, she is divine personified in a dreadful form holding vicious weapon
Gadga on her hand, she produces terrible shrieking voices, she is Padma, she
has the luster of pollen of lotus flower, she is Kali who is the provider of
abundance of boons and shelter to her worshiper, she represents Kalarathri/dark
hours of the night, she is Swaha, Swadha, Vashatkara, she has the luster of
autumn moon, she has the splendor of autmn moonlight, she has terrible
appearance too, her thick and heavy curly hair locks are kept loosened, she has
dreadful appearance with perforated matted hair locks and attractive matted
hair locks, she is decked in king of serpent, she has colossal form, she is
decorated in serpents all over her body, she dwells in the funeral grounds, she
is eulogized by Mahanandhi/celestial bull, her eyes are sparkling resembles to
flame, she is mounted on corpse, she is worshiped by Siddha and Charanas, she
is fond of Bali/sacrificial animal, she symbolizes the sacred syllables Bhur:
Bhuva: Sva:, she is Gayathri as well Savithri, she is Mahaneelasaraswathi, she
is Lakshmi who is the protector of her worshiper, she is flawless, she
symbolizes epitome of beauty, she is attired in the skin of tiger, she is
unblemished, she has three ripples above the navel, she is eulogized by
celestial Gandharvas, she is supreme Goddess who is beyond description, she is
pure, she is great illusionist, she is the source of emancipation, Oh!
Maheshvari, above are the hundreds of sacred names of Goddess Kalika, whoever
reads or listens to it during the early hours of dawn would attain highest of
knowledge and wealth, happiness with the grace of Devi, worshiper would achieve the status of
Siddha and ultimately attain the abode of heaven, worshiper would obtain all
that desired, Oh! Maheshvari, whoever reads or listens to it for hundreds of time would achieve
Chathurvargaphala, recitation of
glorious verses praising the splendor of Goddess Mahakali and worship of her
would bring highest of the meritorious rewards in the Kali Yuga, it would
provide the merit of hundred and thousands of years of worship of Goddess
Mahakali, and worshiper would attain all that desired.”
