I shall meditate upon Lokamatha who is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she eradicates miseries and sorrows of the Samsara, she is supreme Goddess, she is powerful, she is Bhavani who is beloved of all, I shall meditate upon  Bhakthavathsala who is too compassionate to her worshiper, she is beloved of Lord Shiva, she is fond of intense devotion, she is perceivable through intense devotion and faith,  she augments fame of her passionate worshiper,  I shall meditate upon Parameshvari who is the consort of Lord Parameshvara, she is mounted on celestial bull, she is Maheshvari,  she is Annapoornna who symbolizes abundance of grains,  she has pleasing disposition always,  she is Parvathi who is worshiped on the auspicious days of full moon and auspicious days, I shall meditae upon Janani who is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she is personified as Uma, she is dearest darling of Shiva, she is female force of Shambu, she is  Goddess of living beings,  she represents Kalarathri which is the darkest hours of night, Maharathri which is the night of deluge at the end of Kalpa, she is Moharathri as well,  I shall meditate upon supreme Goddess who is the provider of Moksha,  she symbolizes auspiciousness, she is worshiped by illustrious Rishis and sages, she is the cause of Universe, she preserves it and ultimately absorbs the same, I shall meditate upon Devapoojitha who is worshiped by all the deities, she is worshiped by illustrious Rishis and Sages, she is divine personified in order to eradicate the grief of deities, she is Amba who always works for the welfare of the deities, I shall meditate upon Jagadheeshvari who is the Goddess of the Universe, she is the source of Universe and its living beings, she is a great illusionist, she is ShivA who  is the dearest consort of Lord Shiva, she is Gauri who symbolizes eternal bliss, she provides Moksha to her passionate devotees, she has three eyes, and she is Shankari /consort of Shankara who symbolizes auspiciousness,  I shall meditate upon supreme Goddess who symbolizes Prakrithi, she is beyond description, she is the provider of permanent happiness and wealth to her worshiper, she eradicates miseries and sorrows of the distressed people who are surrendered at her lotus feet, Sri Devyashtakam is highly propitious hymn was composed by  Sri Yoganandha, whoever reads or recites these verses with intense devotion would attain highest of the pieties.

Lord Bhrama speaks “ Oh! Vathsa/son, carefully listen to the highly propitious hymns praising the splendor of Sri Adhya, whoever recites these sacred verse with intense devotion would become beloved of Lord Vishnu, worshiper would be freed from the fear of death and illnesses in the Kali era, childless couple who recites or listens to these verse for three fortnight would obtain virtuous offspring, worshiper who listens to these verse from a Bhramin for two months, would attain Mukthi, pregnant women who is destined to give still birth would give birth to healthy child, worshiper will not face any perils while travelling on the ferry, warrior attain victory in the battlefield, worshiper who keeps these sacred hymns in writing and install in their home will not face any troubles from fire of thieves, recitation of these sacred hymns would bring Kingdom and it will please all the deities, I shall meditate upon Bhramani who resides in Bhramaloka, Sarvamangala in the abode of  Vaikundam, Indhrani in the abode of Amaravathi, Ambika in the abode of Varuna, Kalaroopa in the abode of Yama, Shubha in the abode of Lord Kubera, Mahanandha in the abode of Agni, Mrigavahini in Vayavya, Rakthadhantha in Nairuthi, Shooladharini in Eshanyam, Vaishnaviroopa in Pathala Loka, Devamohini in Simhala, Surasa in  Manidhvipam, Bhadhrakalika in Lanka, Rameshvari in Sethubandham, Vimala in the abode of Purushoththama, Viraja in the city of Aundradhesham, Kamakhya in Neelaparvatham, Kalika in Vangadhesham, Maheshvari in Ayodhya, Annapoornna in Varanasi, Gayeshvari in Gayakshethram, Bhadhrakali in Kurukshethra, Kathyayani in Vraja, Mahamaya in Dwaraka, Maheshvari in Mathura, she represents hunger in living beings, she represents tide in ocean, Shuklapaksha, Krishnapaksha and Ekadhashi, she is personified as daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she destroyed the grand Yajja of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is personified as Janaki for Rama, she causes  annihilation of Ravana, she destroyed the demons Chanda, Munda, Rakthabeeja, Nishumbha, Shumbha, and  Madhukaitabha, she provides intense devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu, she is Durga who provides abundance of happiness, and Moksha as well, these are sacred hymns praising the splendor of Sri Adhya is highly auspicious and it should be recited on daily basis, it eradicates all kinds of fever and critical illnesses, it also provides pieties of dip in the crores of sacred rivers, Oh! Jaya kindly protect me in forefront, Oh! Vijaya kindly protect me on the back, Oh! Narayani kindly protect me from the upper areas and Oh! Simhavahini kindly protect all my limbs. She is Shivadhoothi who assigned Lord Shiva as her emissary; she is Ugrachanda who destroyed the demon Chandasura, Oh! Parameshvari kindly protect each and every limbs of us, she is Vishalakshi who have wide beautiful eyes, she is Mahamaya who is a great illusionist, she is Kaumari who is youthful, she is the consort of Lord Shiva, she is wielded in Chakra, she provides victory to worshiper, she is fond of battlefield and she gets exhilarated in the battlefields, she is Durga, she is victorious, she is Kali, Bhadhrakali and Maheshvari as well, she is embodied as Narasimhi/half lion and half woman, Varahi/boar faced, she provides all kinds of supernatural powers and well being to worshiper, she has dreadful appearance that induce fear, she is Maharaudhri who eradicates extreme fears and anxieties of the worshiper.”

Beautiful one kindly be gracious always, she is beyond description, she is supreme Goddess, she is surrounded by Bhoothaganas, she is eulogized by scholars and learned men, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is flawless, she symbolizes permanent wealth, she is the protector of people who are surrendered to her, she is primordial, she carries out the function of the Universe, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is absolute Bhramam, she is personified as Savithri, she illuminates the Universe with her radiance, she symbolizes Universe, she is supreme bliss,  Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is personified as Chandi, Durga, Kalika, and Siddheshvari who symbolizes various supernatural powers, she is Yogini, she is perceivable through Yogic practices, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is store house of virtues, she is beyond virtues, she is primeval, she symbolizes supreme wisdom, she is perpetual, she represents Mahaththaththva/Prakrithi, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she undertakes severe penances, she represents penances, supernatural powers/Siddhi, supreme bliss, she is Prakrithi, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is primordial deity, she is the cause of preservation of Universe and its living beings, she is the ultimate resting place, she is independent, she dwells in living and nonliving things, she resides in and out as well, she is all pervading, she is too passionate to her worshiper, she is a great illusionist therefore ignorent loses the knowledge of self and intellect, eventually they take repeated births according to their sins and pieties attained, she is absolute truth, she illuminates the Universe with her stream of light, she dwells as intellect, she is supreme consciousness, ignorant immerses in worldly pleasures in the association of offspring, wife, and  house, ultimately ends in extreme grief and sorrow, she is Deveshi who undertakes expedition at her own will to  Suryamandala and Chandhramandala,  Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she is personified as Janaki for Rama and Manamohini for Lord Shiva, she is personified as daughter of Dhaksha, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, she augments devotion to Lord Vishnu in her worshiper, she crushed the pride of Kamsasura and Ravana, Oh! Beautiful one kindly be gracious, these are glorious verse praising the splendor of Goddess Lakshmi/Kamala, whoever reads or listens to it with intense devotion and faith would be freed from the fears of severe fever and all kinds of critical illnesses, these sacred verses are highy propitious, it eradicates all kinds of miseries and perils of worshiper, it should be recited on daily basis during the hours of dawn, or noon or dusk, worshiper would be freed from all the sins and dangers in the three world of Bhuvi/Earth, Swarga/heaven and  Rasathalam/etherworld, whoever reads or listens to it with intense faith would be relieved from all the sins and  attain highest of the pieties,  it provides all the happiness and liberation from repeated births, and  it is definite that the worshiper would attain the pieties of dip in the crores of holy rivers, Goddess Kamala will be highly pleased, and  with her eternal grace nothing is impossible in the three worlds, Oh! Parvathi, everything can be achieved in these three worlds with the pieties of recitation of these glorious verses.”

Goddess Sri Shakthi and Lord Shiva speaks “I shall prostrate before Gananatha who is the commander of Ganas and he is the Lord of Ganas as well, he is fond of passionate devotion, he is Lord of Lords, he is the provider of happiness and welfare to his ardent devotees, he is eternal bliss, heis the provider of Siddhi as well as Buddhi, he is Dundiraja who is adorned Shesha as jewel on his navel, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Ganesha who is the safest haven as well as provider of abundance of boons, his two hands as in Abhaya/refuge and Varadha/boons posture respectively, he is wielded in the powerful weapon Parashu, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who  carries Angusham in hand and Shesha on navel, he is void of illnesses, he is all pervading,  he is worshiped by all, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who   represents Saguna/with properties as well as Nirguna/without properties, he represents absolute Bhramam, he imparts the knowledge of absolute Bhramam, he represents absolute Bhramam, I shall prostrate before Gajanana who is elephant faced, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who receives initial oblation, he is supreme Lord, he is Jyeshtaraja, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who is father as well as mother to Universe and its living beings, he is omnipresent, he is Heramba, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who is the Lord of distressed people, he is Vignesha who eradicates obstacles, he can impose impediments and he eradicates the obstacles of his worshiper, I shall prostrate before Lord Ganesha who is Lambodhara who has large belly, he is Yogeesha who is the provider of serenity, how shall we eulogize that Yogaroopa who eradicates all the impediments? We shall continuously prostrate before you in order to please you.”


Sri Ganesha speaks “whoever recites or listens to the above verses constructed by both of you, with utmost faith and devotion would be blessed with pure devotion, it is highly propitious and provides all the auspiciousness, it provides Bhukthi as well Mukthi/pleasure and liberation from repeated births, Puthra and Pauthradikam/ virtuous children and grandchildren, Dhanam and Dhanyam/wealth and abundance of grains to worshiper.”

I shall  meditate upon only at the lotus feet of  Lord Mahadeva who is the enemy of Lord Kamadeva, he is the Lord of living beings/Pashoonampathi, he is the destroyer of sins/Papanasha, he is supreme Lord,  he is attired in the skin of elephant, he is most excellent and munificent/Varenya, his attractive matted hair locks adorn with the streams of sacred Ganga,  I shall meditate upon Lord Mahesha who is the Lord of the Universe, he is Lord of Lords/Suresha, he is the destroyer of enemies of Suras, he is Vibhu and Lord Vishvanatha, he is beautifully smeared in the sacred ashes all over the body, he is Viroopaksha who has unique eyes/Viroopaksha, he have three eyes, he has Lord Chandhra, Lord Surya and Lord Agni as three eyes, he is eternal bliss/Chithanandhamoorthi, he is Prabhu who have five faced/Panchavakthra, I shall meditate upon Gireesha who is the Lord of Mountains/Gireesha, he is Ganesha who is the commander of Ganas, he has bluish colored throat, he is mounted on divine celestial bull, he is store house of virtues and he is beyond description, he is Bhava who has supreme effulgence, his limbs are smeared in sacred ashes, he is the consort of Goddes Bhavani, he have five faces.  Oh! Prabho who is flawless, kindly protect us, he is beloved of ShivA/Goddess Parvathi, he is Shambhu who is auspicious, heis adorned in crescent moon on matted hairlocks, he is positioned on the great direction of Eshana/north-east, he is wielded in powerful trident, he have attractive matted hair locks, he is omnipresent, he is embodied as Universe and its living beings, I shall meditate upon Lord Mahesha, he is Paramathma, he is primordial, he is the source of Universe and its living beings, he is void of passion and desires, he has no specific forms, he represents Omkara, he is eulogized by Pranava, he is the source and protection of the Universe and its living beings, ultimately absorbs them at the end of Kalpa.   I shall meditate upon Lord Mahesha who is the essence of Thrimoorthi/trinities, who is not  restricted in the form of essential elements/Thanthric rites/state of consciousness/seasons/ regions/ or attire, or Bhoomi, Apa, fire, Vayu, Akasham, Thanthra, Nidhra, Greeshma, Sheetham, Dhesham, or Vesham,   I shall take refuge at the lotus feet of Lord Mahesha, who is Para, he is pure, he is void of  duality, he has no birth, he is eternal, he is the cause of all the supreme causes, he is Shivam, he represents supreme radiance that illuminates the whole Universe, he is absolute Bhramam, he is void of Thamasic nature, he has no beginning or end, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Vibhu who embodied as Universe and its living beings/Vishvamoorthi, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Chidhanandhamoorthi/ who is eternal bliss, I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord who represents severe penance and Yoga,  I shall repeatedly prostrate before supreme Lord who symbolizes Shruthi and supreme wisdom.  I shall prostrate before Lord Mahadeva, Prabhu who is wielded in powerful trident, he is the Lord of Universe, he is Shambhu as well as Mahesha, he have three eyes, he is beloved of ShivA/Goddess Parvathi, he is serene, he is Purari who crushed the pride of demons of cities of Thripura, I shall consider that there is nothing superior or auspicious other than you.  I shall prostrate before Lord Maheshvara, he is Shambhu who is the Lord of the Universe and its living beings, he is compassionate, he is wielded in powerful trident, he is the consort of Goddess Gauri, he is the Lord of living beings , he eradicates  worldly bondages of the worshiper, he is the Lord of sacred land of Kashi, he absorbs the Universe at the time of deluge, he protects it, and continue to sustain the  Universe and its living beings, I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Maheshvara who  is Mrida embodied as Universe and its living beings, he is Jagadheesha who is the cause of Laya/delusion at the end of Kalpa, he is embodied as Linga, he is Hara who is Visvaroopin dwells in living and non-living things.
