Eshvara speaks “ Oh! Kamalanane who have beautiful face resembles to lotus flower, Oh! Sathi, carefully listen to these hundreds of scared names of Goddess Durga, that are highly propitious. I shall meditate upon Goddess Durga who is personified as Sathi/Dhakshayani/daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is virtuous, she is submissive to her worshiper, she is Bhavani who liberates the souls from repeated births, she is Arya who is most promising and wise, she is Durga who is unconquerable, she is the safest haven to worshiper, she have three eyes and she carries powerful trident, she is wielded in vicious weapon Pinaka, she has various incarnations, she is violent, she is decked in garland made of bells, she undergoes severe austerities and penance, she symbolizes mind, intellect, ego, pyre,  and funeral pile, she represents all Thanthric rites, she is excellent,  she is absolute truth and eternal bliss, she is primordial and eternal, she is Bhavani who is gracious, she guides us through the righteous path, she is Shambhavi, she is personified as Devamatha/Adhithi, she immerses in deep meditation and she is fond of decorating with precious gem, she symbolizes all kinds of arts and  knowledge, she is Dhakshakanya who is the daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is the destroyer of Dhakshayajja/fire sacrifice of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is Aparnna who undertakes severe penances without consuming even the leaves, she has various colors, she is Padala who has crimson colored complexion, she is attired in majestic silk clothes, she is adorned in beautiful anklets that produces melodious sounds, she is magnanimous, she is valorous, she can be brutal, she is stunningly beautiful among the female deities, she is Vanadurga and Mathangi as well, she is worshiped by Sage Mathanga, she has various incarnations as Bhrami, Maheshvari, Indhri, Kaumari and Vaishnavi, she is Chamunda, Varahi, Lakshmi as well, she represents Purusha, she is unblemished, she is eternal who symbolizes wisdom/Gnana and deeds/Kriya, she is the provider of wisdom and knowledge, she symbolizes compassion and love, she has various celestial vehicle, she crushed the pride of Nishumba and Shumbha, Mahishasura, Madhukaitabha, Chanda and Munda, she destroyes all demons and Dhanavas, she symbolizes all Shashthras, she is absolute truth, she is wielded in all kinds of Asthras, she carries numerous vicious weapons in her hand, she is always decked in numerous weapons, she is personified as young attractive maiden,  she is mighty as well as timid, she is the provider of courage and strength to worshiper, she is Mahodhari who have big sized belly which bear the whole Universe, she is Mukthakeshi who leaves her attractive long and curly hair locks loosened, she have dreadful appearance, she is mighty Goddess, she resembles to colossal fire, she has fierce form, she is Kalarathri, she undertakes severe austerities and penances, she is personified as Narayani, Bhadhrakali, Vishnumaya  as well, she is embodied as sacred water course, she is Shivadhoothi who assigned Lord Shiva as her emissary, she is Karali who have frightening appearance, she is eternal, she is Parameshvari who is the consort of Lord Parameshvara, she is personified as Kathyayani who is daughter of Sage Kathyayana, and Savithri, she symbolizes absolute Bhramam, she is female force of Lord Bhrama, Oh! Parvathi, above are the thousands of sacred names of Goddess Durga, that are highly meritorious which would bring all that desired by the worshiper and nothing would be impossible in this three worlds for that worshiper, it would bring Dhanam/wealth, Dhanyam/ abundance of grains, virtuous Children/sutha, compassionate wife/Jaya, Haya/horse,  Hasthi/elephant etc.. it provides Chathurvargaphala to the worshiper, ultimately liberation from repeated births, Oh! Sureshvari, Goddess Kumari should be worshiped with utmost faith and devotion followed with the recitation of these hundreds of sacred names, it provides abundance of pieties, all kinds of supernatural powers and prosperity, worship of Yanthram along with Purari/Lord Vishnu with prescribed rite followed  with the offerings of Gorochanm,Kumkum, Sindhooram, Karpooram, Madhuthrayam/mixture of milk, honey and ghee is highly meritorious".
