I shall meditate upon Lord Vittala who protects from injustice, immorality, mischievousness, and cruelties, and gives protection to the distressed people, he releases worshiper from the shackle of bondages, he dwells as bee in the lotus like hearts of virtuous, he resides as elephant in the dense woods, he represents virtues and disciplines like the assemblage of  lotus flowers and Shadpadha/consists of six divisions, he eradicates excessive lust and desires in the worshiper, he represents peculiar intellect, Chakora and lotus, he enthusiastically performs various amusements, he is Kshonibhartha/consort of Goddess Earth who reclines in the nectar like ocean, he has  various incarnations, he descended down to Earth from the supreme abode in order to perform various pastime , he is the annihilator of Mallas/wrestlers, he is adolescent Krishna represents Mallaroopa and fought with the wrestlers in Mathura, he resides on the sacred river banks of Chandhrabhaga and dissipates his weariness by consuming  water from Chandhrabhaga, he takes immense pleasure in the various sport/Kandhooka/ball made of flowers/Nethrameelanam/hide and seek etc.. he pilfers the clothes of young maidens of cowherds and settles on the top branch of Kadhamba tree, he is beloved of Vallavi/cowherds, he is most desired and revered by the young maidens of cowherds, he settles in the middle of Rasamandala and takes immense merriment in the association of young maidens of Vraja, he takes immense pleasure in Rasa/amorous sport, he remains invisible before young maidens of cowherds, he is divine personified as little cowherd who made companion with the numerous cowherds of Vraja, he is supreme conscious who represents pure wisdom and all pervading in the three worlds.

Sri Shuka continues “ Oh! Shaunaka, above are the thousands of sacred names of Lord Vishnu who is personified as Lord Vittala are  highly propitious hymns, it should be recited sincerely three times/Thrikalam/dawn, dusk and noon, or Yekakala/once in a day, with utmost faith and devotion to Lord Vishnu,  Oh! Dhvija/twice born, whoever recites or listens to the above verses by following strict austerities/Niyathahara/ strict fast, with utmost dedication and abstains from sensual pleasures would definitely get all their desires fulfilled.”
