I shall meditate upon Goddess Yamuna whose water course spread across far off lands in manifolds, she is worshiped in Bahulavana, she has deep reverence to Radhakunda, she had chosen to be in the Krishnakunda, she remains in Lalithakunda, she adorns Vishakhakunda, she resides in Govindhakunda, she joyfully resides in Gopakunda, she has greatest devotion to Ganga, she represents fresh alluring flowers, she is nobel and beautiful, she is Govardhini, she symbolizes cows and wealth, peacock, she is a beautiful woman with elegant features, she is embodied as lake with blue colored waters which is the dwelling place of chirping Kokila birds, she is derived from the illustrious clan of Giriraja, she undertakes severe austerities and penances, she is the female force of Govardhana, she is self-restraint, her sacred waters are divine cure, she symbolizes wealth and Shruthi, she guides us to cross the ocean of Samsara, she is embodied as sacred water body which purifies the souls, she is divine water body provides sustenance, her waters are mixture of  blue and yellow color, she yearns to remain at the lotus feet of Sri Krishna, she symbolizes amorous sport and her sacred water course adorns the woods where Krishna performed amorous sport with the young maidens of cowherds of Vraja, she dwells in the woods of passionate sports performed by Krishna, her water course adorn the sacred land of Nandhagrama/village of Nandha, she is embodied as Earth, she embellishes the highest of mountain peaks with her sparkling water body, she is equivalent to Nandhishvara, her water course makes the noise of musical instrument of low  and melodious tone, she represents Kokila, she is storehouse of virtues and good fortune/welfare, prosperity, her waters are rich of mineral deposits and has the fragrances of Kashmeera/saffron, she represents ancestors/she is seated on the Kushagrass, she is Shonapuri and governs the Surakshethra, she is decked in various precious ornaments that spreads intense luster, her sacred water course gleaming in various colors, her river banks are enriched by trees of Kadamba, she is adorned in various colors of splendid clothes, her water course spread across different parts of the world and she occupies various sacred water courses as well, she represents precious gem/Sthrirathnam, she dwells in the superior abode which symbolizes precious gem/Rathnanilaya, she is stunningly beautiful, she is pleasant and adorned in various precious gems.

Sri Vedavyasa speaks “ I shall meditate upon Lord Jagannatha who has four hands, he is adorned in precious gem Kausthubha on neck, he is Padmanabha who has lotus flower on navel, he is the essence of Veda and sacred scriptures, he has Lord Chandhra and Lord Surya as eyes, he is Jagannatha/Lord of the Universe, he is the Lord of all worlds, he dwells on the peaks of Neeladhri,  he is supreme Lord Hari who is beyond human intellect, he is the closest companion of distressed people, he is ocean of mercy, he is compassionate and protector of living beings, he carries Conch and divine wheel on his hands, he is Padmanabha who is flawless among men, he is the protector of the Universe, he is omnipresent, he is Sureshvara who is all pervading, he is the King of the world and King of deities as well, he is mighty Lord and the protector of Earth, he is Bhoopathi/consort of Goddess Earth, he is the Lord of glorious mountain peak Neeladhri, he is eternal and Purushoththama, he is Kalpatharu/wish fulfilling creeper, he augments happiness of the pure/sinless and righteous people, he has various forms as Balabhadhra/Balarama, Vasudeva/unconquerable, Madhava/consort of Goddess Mahalakshmi and Madhusoodhana/slayer of demon Madhu, he is the annihilator of demons, he is Pundareekaksha whose eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, he is Vanamali who is decked in garlands of fresh alluring flowers of woods, he is Balapriya/ beloved of Balarama, he represents Bhrama and Vishnu, he is born in the illustrious clan of  Vrishni, he is Murari who is the slayer of demon Mura, he is Krishna who has dark colored complexion and  he is Keshava who has beautiful and attractive curly hair locks, he is personified as Srirama, he is eternal bliss, he is Govindha who is the Lord of cows, he is Parameshvara who is supreme Lord, he is Vishnu who is unconquerable/Jishnu, he is Mahavishnu who has supreme effulgence, he is Maheshvara who is the Lord of the Universe, he is the source of the functions of the Universe, he is Jagannatha  , he carries out the essential functions on the Earth, he is Mahayasha who has endless splendor and fame, he symbolizes Maharshi/supreme ascetic, he is personified as Kapilacharya, he is supreme Lord Hari who dwells in the worlds, he dwells as Athman in living beings, he protects the living beings, he is valorous, he is the protector of Samsara, he has various incarnations, he is my most beloved Lord, he is Maheshvara who is absolute Bhramam, he has numerous forms with two powerful hands, four hands, hundreds and thousands of hands, he have beautiful wide eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, he has lotus flower on his navel, he is supreme Lord Hari.”

I shall meditate upon Goddess Yamuna whose water course surge through the woods of creepers on the sacred land of Vrindhavan and she embellishes the woods of Vrindhavan with her eternal presence, she  is Sri Mahalakshmi who has matchless beauty dwells on the sacred land of Mathura, she has embodied as sacred water course at her own will to remain at ease with certain purpose and she delightfully resides on the sacred land of Gokula, she adorn the chest of Ramana with her perpetual presence, she represents Mahavanam/great wood of creepers as well as Mahanadhi/great water course which is sacred bathing place, she is supreme Goddess who elevates the souls from sins, her sacred waters are abundant and rich with various piousness, she is Bharathi/descendent of Bharatha clan and she is worshiped by Bharatha, she belongs to the Gothra of  the clan of Theertharaja, she confluences with the Gangasagara, she  perforates seven oceans with the flickering stream, she surge forcibly through the Sapthadhveepa, she covers the mountain peaks with her water course and moves like flash with great speed, her waters has the color of turmeric, she is embodied as mother Earth, she is watchful and witnesses all the functions of the Universe and its living beings, she carries out the functions of the Universe, she is worshiped by the living beings and deities, she  surge through greatest mountain peaks and celestial worlds, she is venerated in the celestial worlds, she dwells on the sacred woods of Vrindhavan, she protects the people and she is the fruit of pieties of the people of Vrindhavan, her sacred river banks  are the curtain of the stage were glorious pastimes of Krishna was performed, her sacred water course lands on Asikunda and embellishes it as a waist band and she explores through the lands freely at her own will with rasping noises and great speed, her water course are powerful and swift, her sacred waters are formed from mist, rain, and clouds, she eradicates all kinds of sins, she resembles to lioness who eradicates  severe sins, she destroys Papadhruma/woods of sins, she symbolizes pieties, she is eulogized by virtuous people, she is the provider of abundance of pieties to the worshiper, she augments the meritorious rewards of the worshiper, she is the commander of Madhuvana and various prominent woods on the sacred land of Vraja, she merrily lives in the woods of Thala/Thalavanam and Kumudhavanam, her sacred water course has the resemblance of  divine music instrument and it is the dwelling place of water lilies and lotus flowers in abundance, she is Plavaroopa/water, she is Vegavathi who has great speed, her sacred water body is the dwelling place for particular  grass/plants and venomous serpents.

I shall meditate upon Lord Jagannatha who is worshiped by Deva/deities, Dhanavas/demons, Gandharva/celestial Apsaras and singers, Yaksha, Vidhyadhara and Uraga, he has pleasing disposition and has the effulgence of thousands and millions of Lord Surya,  I shall meditate upon supreme Lord Narayana, who is the provider of Chathurvargaphala such as Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha to the worshiper, Victory to Lord Krishna ! Victory to Lord Jagannatha, and Victory to supreme Lord who is primeval, Victory to Shesha, Victory to supreme Lord who is worshiped by the whole Universe, I shall prostrate before the lotus feet of Lord Jagannatha.


Udhishtira speaks “  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord who is beloved of the whole of Universe, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Jagathpathi who has endless glories are appropriate to describe now, Lord Vishnu will be highly pleased with the recitation of his glorious verses, he is Dhatha/purifier and Vidhatha/preserver and disperse the fruit of Karma as well, he is absolute truth, he is the cause for the origin of three worlds and its living beings soaked in illusion, in order to drench the humans and animals in a state of illusion.”


Bheeshma speaks “ Oh! Yudhishtira, Oh! Mahabhaho who has powerful arms, I shall narrate the splendor and sacred names of Jagannatha which is highly propitious, carefully listen to them.  The living and nonliving beings all those were created by Bhrama dwells in the world of Samsara are soaked in illusion, even the Bhrama, Dhikpalas and deities are definitely besieged by delusion, hence the Bhramanda appeared into various regions, all those living beings were created either with kindness or self-interest, and it was caused by Lord Jagannatha who symbolizes absolute truth and righteousness.  Oh! Anagha/sinless, I shall narrate the thousands of sacred names of Lord Jagannatha for you.”

 I shall meditate upon Lord Jagannatha who resides on the peak of Neeladhri situated on the conch shaped hills, seated with Bhadhra/Balabhadhra and Subhadhra on his left,  in a gem decorated throne positioned in the middle of hundred petaled lotus flowers, he is decorated in various precious ornaments, he is primordial who is eternal bliss, his lotus feet are worshiped by Bhrama, Rudra and Indhra,  he is the essence of Veda, he is supreme Lord surrounded by his own people Bhrama and deities.
