The supreme Lord Sriman Narayana who is
personified for the welfare of the Universe, he is primeval, he is eternal, he
is imperishable, he is reclining on the serpent Sehsha, he is Vibhu who is all
pervading, he is splendid, appeared before the deities. He is reclining
on the mighty hooded Anantha, he is eulogized by Rishis and sages, Lord Vishnu
along with his consorts Mahalakshmi and Mahi/Goddess Earth, appeared before the
deities. Dharani Devi who has pleasing
disposition, reverentially greeted Lord Vishnu and said “We shall surrender to
Lord Narayana who is undergoing Yoganidra for long time, Oh! Paramathma who is
the symbol of devotion and divinity, it is difficult to hold on the harassment
of enemies of deities and it is unbearable.
Oh! Dheenadhayalo/compassionate Lord, we shall surrender to you, kindly
shower your grace. Oh! Karirajakripalo/
who showered mercy on the elephant, you are the essence of mercy dwells in the
milky ocean; at this moment it is the dilemma for all the deities, Oh!
Madhusoodhana, kindly eradicate our difficulties, Oh! Dharanidhara, who is
decked in marvelous ornaments and anklets, you are the protector of the deities
from the perils, therefore kindly protect us quickly and reduce the burden of
Earth, Oh! Madhusoodhana kindly eradicate our difficulties, Oh! Phanimandalashayana/
who is reclining on the bed of thousand hooded Anantha, decked in various
precious ornaments and magnificent earrings, possessed with countless excellent virtues, seated on the
marvelous dais decorated with precious gem, mounted on Garuda who is the son of
Vinatha, dwells in the hearts of Yogis and Rishis, Oh! Mdhusoodhana, kindly eradicate our
difficulties, Oh! Halisodhara/younger brother to Balarama, dreadful to enemies,
flawless, dwells in the ocean of bliss, protector from the hellish tortures,
Oh! Narapalaka/protector of living beings, resides as Paramathman of Sri
Narayanatheertha who is passionate servant of Hari, Oh! Madhusoodhana, kindly
eradicate our difficulties.” In this way
Dharani devi eulogized Lord Narayana with appropriate words, further she
praised the glories of Lord Narayana as Akhilabhuvanaikamithram/ who is closest
associate of the whole Universe, Shathruhanthara/who
is the destroyer of enemies, worshiped by Lord Bhrama and deities, cause of
Universe and its living beings, sustainer of the Universe etc..
I shall prostrate before supreme Lord
Narayana along with his consorts Sri Mahalakshmi and Bhudevi, reclines on the bed of serpent Anantha in the
middle of milky ocean, has lotus flower on his navel, immersed in Yoganidhra,
omniscient, and personified as Purusha
