I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who is the son of Lord Surya and younger brother to Lord Yama, I shall prostrate before Lord Shanaishchara who was born to  Devi Cchaya and Lord Marthanda, and has the luster of lightning.


I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Shanaishchara who is worshiped by twice-born/Bhramin, he is deserved to be venerated, he symbolizes righteousness, he is wielded in powerful bow and arrow, he is skillful in the usage of bow and arrow, he is the provider of immense wealth to his worshiper, he ensures the existence of righteousness, he is Dharmaroopa, he symbolizes the Dharmashasthra and Dhanurvidhya, he is beloved of Dharmaraja, he is worshiped by Dharmaraja, he provides abundance of boons to Dharmaraja, he provides righteousness and fulfils all the desires of the worshiper, he represent contentment and immersed in the Nithyakarma/daily routines, he destroys all kinds of perils and pains, he is the provider of abundance of boons to ardent devotees, he has blue complexion, he takes immense pleasure in recitation of sacred hymns, he is pleased to listen the sacred hymns recited by Emperor Nala, he is worshiped by Emperor Nala, he dwells in the abode of Nakshathramandala/galaxy and he is highly revered, he protects the worshiper who are surrendered at his lotus feet, he represents Navagraha, he has blue complexion, he is worshiped by Emperor Nala, he is beloved of Emperor Nala and dwells in the Nalakshethra, he takes immense pleasure in Nalapaka, he eradicated all the  afflictions caused to  Nala, he eradicated all kinds miseries and grief of Nala, he is sincerely worshiped by Nala, he was immensely  pleased at the veneration of Nala and fulfilled all his desires, Nala got relieved from all the afflictions after holy dip in Nalatheertha and regained his lost glories and Kingdom, he is the commander of stars and planets, he is seated under Neeladhvaja, he is immersed in Yoga and he is decked in nine precious gem studded ornaments.
