Sri Shuka speaks “Victory to Goddess Sri Ganga who is ascended down to earth after severe penance of King Bhageeratha, I shall meditate upon the glorious form of Goddess Sri Ganga who has fair complexion, gorgeous with four hands, Oh! Bhoopathi, she is attainable through intense devotion and meditation, Oh! Nrupoththama, she is capable to provide abundance of pieties and glories, her each and every limb is soaked in extreme delight, she has supremely gorgeous with attractive physical appearances and it provides immense delight to the worshiper, Oh! Bhoopathi, supreme Goddess Ganga who is divine personified is primordial will be highly pleased to listen praising her with the thousands of sacred names.”

Bhageeratha speaks “ Oh! Shive, I am  Bhageeratha, son of King Dhilipa,  I shall prostrate before  your lotus feet which is not easily approachable to devotees, it is possible for the people to attain your lotus feet with the abundance pieties and severe austerities, Oh! Ganga, Oh! Karunamayi/compassionate, Oh! Maheshwari, I have witnessed your magnificent form due to my birth in the glorious clan of Surya, I am grateful, I am grateful, I am grateful to you, there is no doubt in it,  I shall repeatedly prostrate before  Goddess Ganga who has the eyes resembles to blue lotus flower,  I shall prostrate before your extremely gorgeous form and each and every part of your attractive limbs, kindly listen to these glorious thousands of names eulogizing your splendor.”

Sri Shuka speaks “ Sri Ganga Namasahasrakam is highly propitious hymns, it is recited by Maharishi Vedavyasa, Anushtup as its chandas, it was revealed to Vipra/Bhramin, it has Goddess Ganga as the presiding deity, it provides abundance of pieties of  thousands of Ashwamedha Yaga, hundreds of Rajasooya Yagna, Vajapeya and  performance of Gayashraddha for ancestors, it eradicates severe sins like Bhramahathya, and numerous sins committed, it is recited for attaining Nirvana/liberation/renunciation.”

|Hari Om|| Sri Ganga Sahasranama Sthothra is highly propitious hymn composed by Maharishi Vedavyasa, it has Anushup as chandas, recites to please the presiding deity Goddess Ganga, it is recited for eradication of all kinds of sins,  and attaining the state of Nirvana/renunciation, ultimately liberation from repeated births||
