Sri Yoga Meenakshi Sthuthi: by Sage Agasthya - Lyrics and meanings

I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she is the cause of delight of Lord Shiva who takes immense pleasure in her presence, she is worshiped by Lord Shiva, Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and all the deities, she is immersed in the meditation of Lord Shiva, she is personified as preceptor who imparts knowledge in faith of Lord Shiva, she is the provider of happiness and fortune.   I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya who majestically seated on the marvelous throne, she carries bow and arrow, Pasham and Angusham on her hands, she has supreme luster, she is decked in crescent moon on her beautiful plait of hair, and she is the consort of Parambhramam/Lord Shiva.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she is decked in marvelous crown and Mangalyasoothra that spreads intense luster, she is decorated with various precious ornaments, crescent moon and marvelous earrings, she is the symbol of sacred hymns, she is majestically seated on the throne of Kingdom of Pandya, and she is Paramdhama/who is not perceivable through senses.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, her beautiful forehead has superior luster, she has attractive limbs, and she is the symbol of Paramdhamam. I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she represents three dimensions of Athmavidhya and three dimension of Bindhu, she dwells in Thrikona and Thrilokavanam, she symbolizes Thribeejam and supreme intellect of Thrimoorthi, and she is the consort of Parambhramam. I shall meditate upon the lotus feet of  Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she is highly enthusiastic, she is decked in marvelous anklets decorated with attractive bells, she has large and high raised bosom that causes slight bend to forefront, her lotus feet is decorated with superior Laksharasa/colorful paste with rich fragrances.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she is the symbol of superior wisdom and knowledge, and she represents Astanga Yoga, she remains visible/Roopa and invisible/Aroopa as well, she remains the beginning and end as well, she remains Varnnam/color and Avarnnam/colorless as well,  she is not perceivable through senses.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she dwells on the shores of ocean of wealth, she resides in the middle of Manidhvipa, she appears as Kalpavruksha/wish fulfilling tree in the divine chakra, she is majestically settled down on the throne of Mahayoga and Shivakaram as its cushion.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she explores through the divine Srichakra, she is seated on the Sahasraram/lotus flower that has thousands of petals, she dwells with Lord Surya, Lord Chandra and Lord Agni in the middle of Srichakra, she resides in Sudhamandalam, and she is supreme bliss.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she represents six Angas of Veda, nine Visarga and aggregate of twelve, she dwells in the middle of Mahabindhu, she is harmonious, she is eternal bliss, she is beyond time and remains noiseless and she is always on move.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she dwells in Chathurmarga/with four limbs, she resides inside the auspicious corner and lotus shaped well, she appears as lotus that does not require any support, she represents sixteen forms of arts and she is always on move.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she appears as dissolved in the air and brilliance, she is always pleasant, she symbolizes as Mahashodasha, she dwells in the thought and she is always on move.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she dwells in the middle of four leaves, she resides in the middle auspicious corner, she dwells in Thrimoorthi, she dwells inside the three ways, she dwells in the Sahasrara Padmam/lotus flower with thousands of petals, she appears as flow of light that amplify intellect.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she is Paramdhamaroopa, she shines as Dhvadhshendhu Bindhu resembles to the stream of nectar, she symbolizes supreme bliss, she has three bosoms, and she dwells in the middle of Chathushkooda.  I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, she dwells in the middle of  Sahasrara, she explores through the Sushmna, she has the luster of full of moon, she is the cause to drink and to be heard, she is the provider of affluence, she is Paramjyothiroopa/who has supreme brilliance.  I shall always prostrate before Goddess Meenakshi who is the daughter of King Pandya, I shall prostrate before Goddess Meenakshi who dwells in the heart of Lord Sundaresa, I shall repeatedly prostrate before Goddess Sri Meenakshi who is the symbol of auspiciousness.
