Skandha continues “ I shall prostrate before Goddess Ganga who descended down from the sky, she is most venerable, she has graceful nectar like  flow which conquered the deities, she refuses the wicked people, she continues to exists the place where righteous deeds happens, she eradicates all the sins and wickedness in the Universes, she removes the worldly bondages of the worshiper, she had covered herself thrice in the world of Pathala, her sacred waters are blended with nectar, she symbolizes Veda and she is eulogized by Vedas and sacred scriptures, she has the gait of swan, she is life-giving nectar to her worshiper, she is Jahnavi/daughter of Sage Jahnu, she is the mother of the Universe, she is eulogized by deities and Rishis, she is a purifier of souls, she is victorious, she is most beloved to Janardhana, she has originated with the heart set on salvation of the world, she has manifested for the welfare of the souls, she is Jagathjyeshta, she is omnipresent, she resembles to sacred creeper manifested as savior of souls, she has originated for the liberation of souls from repeated births, she is the destroyer of ignorance in her worshiper, she has originated for the purification of souls with her sacred waters, she is the provider of happiness to the world, she is the mother of the Universe, she is Jalaja who has the eyes resembles to lotus flower, she is the provider of nectar like eye sight to her worshiper, she destroys the exhaustion, ignorance and distress in her worshiper, she enthusiastically dwells in the matted hair locks of Lord Shiva, she is unconquerable, she persistently recite sacred hymns, she is personified as the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, she is fond of Jallari and Jhinti Vadhya, she  appears as falling drops with humming noise like a wise woman, she is worshiped by the deities and intellectuals, she has instigated from Pathala, she is most venerable and delightful, she is fond of Dankaranruthya, her sacred waters has mesmerizing flow, she has the gait of swan, she carries Damaru on her hand, with the reverberating sound of Damaru she witnesses the deluge at the end of Yuga.”
