Eshwara spoke “Oh! Devi, listen to me
about the merits achieved by the mortals whoever reads or listen to the glorious
verses of armor of Goddess Durga, which is capable to provide all kinds of
Siddhis/supernatural powers, and relieve the worshiper from the miseries and
grief. Whoever reads or listen to these
sacred verses of armor of Goddess Durga along with the sacred hymns of Goddess
Durga would attain the abode of Lord; the worshiper protects themselves from
the tortures of the hell."
Let Goddess Uma protects my head, Let my forehead protects by the Goddess Uma who carries trident on her hand, let my eyes protects by Goddess Uma who rides on her celestial vehicle lion, let my ears protects by Goddess Uma who dwells in the Chinthamani Gruha, let my nose protects by the Goddess Uma who is fond of rich fragrances, let my face protects by Goddess Uma who is decked in various precious ornaments all over her body, let my tongue protects by Goddess Chandika, let my neck protects by Soupathrika. Let my intellect protects by Ashokavasini, let my arms protects byVajradharini/who carries fierce weapon Vajrayudha on her hands, let my heart protects by Goddess Lalitha, let my stomach protects by Simhavahini who rides on the celestial vehicle lion. Let Goddess Bhagavathi protects my hip, let Goddess Vindhyavasini protects my thighs, let my feet protects by the supreme Goddess who protects all the living beings in the Universe. I shall prostrate before Goddess Durga who protects the three worlds, kindly protects all our body parts too.”
