Nithya Sthothrani – lyrics and meanings – 41 - 52



|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||









Pippala Sthuthi:

I shall prostrate before Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu, Lord Shankara, all the deities and Lord Vasudeva who represents the root of Pippala, skin, branches and its leaves respectively. 

Punyajana Sthuthi:

It is always auspicious to eulogize the glories of King Nala, King Yudhishtira, Goddess Vaidhehi and Lord Janardana.

Rajarishi Sthuthi:

The recitation of glories of serpent Karkodaka, King Nala and his queen Dhamayanthi, Rajarishi Rithuparnna would remove the evil effects of Kali.

Sapthachiranjeevi Sthuthi:

The recitation of glories and myths of Ashwaththama, King Bali, Maharishi Vedavyasa, Lord Hanuman, Vibheeshana, Kripacharya, Lord Parasurama would bring long life.

Bhagavad Bhaktha Smaranam –

It is always auspicious to remember the glories of Prahladha, Maharishi Narada, Sage Parashara, Sage Pundareeka, Maharishi Veda Vyasa, King Ambareesha, Shukashaunaka, Bheeshma, Dhalbhyan, Rugmangadha, Arjuna Sage Vashishta, Vibheeshana who are known as the ardent devotees of Lord Vishnu.

It is auspicious to remember the glories of King Maha Bali, Vibheeshana, Bheeshma, Prahladha, Maharishi Narada and Dhruva, who are known as passionate devotees of Lord Vishnu, it would eradicate all the sins instantly.

Whoever eulogize the glories of King Yudhishtira would remain righteous, whoever eulogize the glories of Vrukodhara/Bheema would remain sinless, whoever eulogize the glories of Dhanajjaya/Arjuna would overpower their enemies, and whoever remember the glories of Adhrisuthas /Nakula and Sahadeva would be free from all kinds of illnesses.

Whoever remembers the glories of Somanatham and Vaidhyanatham in the early morning hours of dawn would remain free from all kinds of illnesses.  Whoever remembers the glories of Kapila, Kamadhenu, Kalpavruksha, Chinthamani, and Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi along with the milky ocean, Lord Kubera and Lord Chandra would be blessed with richness.  Whoever recites the glories names of Lord Narayana would attain Dharma, Artha , Kama and Moksha.

Navarishi Suprabhatham –

I shall meditate upon Lord Bhrama, Lord Murari/Lord Vishnu, Lord Thripuranthakari/Lord Shiva, Lord Bhanu/Lord Surya, Lord Shashi/Lord Chandra, Lord Budha/Mercury who is the son of Bhoodevi, Guru/Jupiter, Shukra/Venus, Shani/Saturn, Rahu and Kethu, in the early hours of morning, kindly provide us all the auspiciousness.  I shall meditate upon Sage Bhrugu, Sage Vashishta, Sage Krathu, Sage Angira, Manu, Pulasthya, Pulaha, Gauthama, Raibhya, Mareechi, Chyavana and Dhaksha in the early hours of morning, kindly provide us all the auspiciousness.   I shall meditate upon Sanathkumara, Sanaka, Sanandhana, Sanathana, Sapthaswara and Saptharasathalam in the early hours of morning, kindly provide us all the auspiciousness.  I shall meditate upon Saptharnnavam, Sapthakulachalam, Saptharshi, Sapthadhveepa, Sapthavanam, and the whole of the Universe in the early hours of morning; kindly provide us all the auspiciousness.  I shall meditate upon Prithvi,  Sagandha, Sarasa, Vayu, Agni, sounds etc…in the early hours of morning, kindly provide us all the auspiciousness.  I shall meditate upon Saptharishis known as Sage Kashyapa, Bharadhvaja, Vishwamithra, Gauthama, Jamadagni and Vashishta.

Navagraha Sthothram –

I shall prostrate before the nine planets Lord Surya/Sun, Lord Soma/Moon, Mangal/Mars, Budha/Mercury, Guru/Jupiter, Shukra/Venus, Shani/Saturn, Rahu and Kethu. 

Vyasakritha Navagraha Sthothram –

I shall prostrate before Lord Divakara/Lord Surya/Sun who has supreme brilliance, kindly eradicate all our sins,  I shall prostrate before Shashi/Somam/Lord Chandra/Moon who is the ornament adorned in the matted hair locks of Lord Shamu, he has intense luster and originated from milky ocean.  I shall prostrate before Mangal/ Mars who is born to Bhoodevi and has intense luster, he is youthful and carries the weapon Shakthi/spear on his hand.  I shall prostrate before Budha/Mercury who has the luster of dark clouds, he is serene and compassionate.  I shall prostrate before Lord Bhrahaspathi/Guru/Jupiter who is the preceptor of deities and Rishis, he has the luster of precious yellow metal, and he is the symbol of intellect.  I shall prostrate before Bhargava/Shukra/Venus who is the preceptor of Dhaithyas and has prominent knowledge in the usage of armaments.  I shall prostrate before Shanaischara/Saturn who has the complexion of blue, he is the son of Lord Surya and brother of Lord Yama, and he is the son of Cchayadevi and Lord Marthanda/Surya.  I shall prostrate before Rahu/ who has partial body, he is valorous, he is the enemy of Lord Chandra and Lord Surya, he is the son of Simhika,  I shall prostrate before  Kethu/ who has the luster of Palasha flowers, he is fierce and dreadful. 

Whoever recites or listens to the above glorious verses composed by Maharishi Vedavyasa in the hours of dawn or dusk would be relieved from all kinds of impediments, it would destroy nightmares and provides abundance of wealth and good health to the readers/men or women, or King.    It is definite that whoever reads or listens to these verses of Maharishi Veda would be removed from the evil effects in the changes of planetary positions; it destroys the fear of theft and all kinds of perils.

Shani Sthuthi:

Whoever recites or listens to the ten glorious names of Lord Shanaischara, who is positioned in a corner, dark complexion, fierce looking and slow gait, in the early hour of dawn would be freed from the evil effects of changes in the planet.

Raghavendhra Sthuthi:

I shall prostrate before the divine cow Kamadhenu, I shall eulogize the glories of Kalpavruksha, I shall venerate the lotus feet of Raghavendhra who is the symbol of truth and righteousness.

Mangala Sloka: -

All the auspiciousness to Lord Gananatha/Lord Ganehsa/Lord of Ganas, all the auspiciousness to son of Lord Hara, all the auspiciousness to Vignaraja/remover of obstacles, all the auspiciousness to Vighanaharthra/remover of impediments.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Vishnu who is the slayer of demon Madhu/Madhsoodhana, all the auspiciousness to Pundarikaksha/who has the eyes resembles to lotus flower, all the auspicious to Garudadhvaja/who has the symbol of Garuda on his flag.  I shall prostrate before Kamalanethra/who have the eyes resembles to lotus flower, I shall prostrate before Kamalamaline/who is decked in garlands made of lotus flower, I shall prostrate before Lord Kamalanabha who has lotus flower on his navel and I shall prostrate before Lord Kamalapathi/ who is the consort of Goddess Kamala/Mahalakshmi.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Srinivasa who has all the divinity, he fulfils all the desires of his devotees; he is the Lord of Venkadadhri.   All the auspiciousness to Lord Srinivasa who is the consort of Sri, he is the provider of all the auspiciousness to his passionate devotees; he resides in the hills of Srivenkatam.  All the auspiciousness to Lord Rama who is the son of Emperor Dhasharadha, he is the Lord of Kingdom of Kosala, he is the storehouse of virtues.

Mangalacharan –


I shall pray for the welfare of the entire Universe and its living beings, I shall pray for the welfare of the Kindgom, King and his subjects, I shall pray for the welfare of cattle and Bhramins, I shall always pray for all the auspiciousness of Universe its people.  I shall pray for the abundance of  seasonal rains, grains, productiveness of earth and all the crops, I shall pray for protection from the natural calamities, famine and epidemics, I shall pray for the Bhramins and I shall pray for all the living beings to live fearless life.  I shall pray for the childless couples to live with virtuous off springs and grand children; I shall pray for all the living beings to live long life.

Shayana Samaye

Oh! Sri Mahadeva, Oh! Shambho kindly pardon us for all that sins committed by hands, feet, words, speech, or actions, kindly forgive us for all that sins committed by listening or by heart, and all those actions performed with intellect or ignorance, I shall earnestly pray to pardon us.  Victory to Lord Mahadeva who is the ocean of mercy!

I shall prostrate before the supreme Lord Shiva, kindly pardon us from the sins committed in various births, I shall earnestly pray to eradicate all our sins the moment we perform Pradhakshina.  I shall regularly prostrate before all the deities and Lord Keshava who represents sky and ocean.  I shall offer all those words uttered, and all those actions committed by mind, intellect and sensory organs to Lord Narayana.
 
I shall pray for all the living beings to live in peace! I shall pray for all the living beings to live in serenity! I shall pray for all the living to live flawless life! I shall pray for all the living beings to live with all the auspiciousness!  I shall pray for all the living beings to live in prosperity, I shall pray for all the living beings to live safest life, and remove all our miseries and sorrows.
