I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is the slayer of demon Madhu and Kaitabha, Mahishasura and Dhoomraksha, she is the destroyer of Chanda and Munda, she is the destroyer of Rakthabeeja and numerous demons, she is the slayer of Nishumbha and Shumbha, Oh! Durga, I shall earnestly pray to destroy my sorrows and grief as well. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga, while Lord Vishnu was reclining on the serpent Anantha the demons Madhu and Kaitabha initiated from the lotus ears of Lord Vishnu, they were arrogant and haughty, all the deities were terrified eventually Lord Bhrama and deities appealed to Goddess Sri Durga and eulogized her glories, I shall surrender to Goddess Sri Durga who destroyed demons Madhu and Kaitabha, to eradicate all the perils in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who destroyed the clan of demons who conquered the deities and confiscated the cosmic world, eventually ruled the cosmic world with all their associates, I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to destroy all the troubles in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is immersed in creation, preservation and destruction as her Leel, she is worshiped by the deities and surrenderd at her lotus feet to protect from the hurdles created by the demons, I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to eradicate all our sins. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who was eulogized by the deities for the annihilation of demons Shumbha and Nishumba, she is the destroyer of demons Dhoomraksha, Chanda and Munda who were desecrated the sanctity of Mount Himavan, she is personified as Goddess Sri Chamunda and destroyed the demon Rakthabeeja and numerous demons, I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to eradicate all the perils in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga, who is the female force of Lord Bhrama, Lord Shiva, Lord Subramanya, Lord Narayana, Lord Varaha, Lord Narasimha, Lord Indra and she conquered the hearts of deities, she is the slayer of dreadful and wicked Nishumbha with all her powers and she is wielded in Gadgam, I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to eradicate all the perils in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga, who shower her auspicious gaze on the deities who appeal before her to protect them with the prayers “ Oh! Swamini, Oh! Thrailokhya Janani, it is pointless to cry out for your help because you are the mother of all the living beings, and it is the mother who protects her child without any request” I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to protect us from all the perils in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga, who is personified according to the Thrigunas for the welfare of the Universe, she is wild fire to the woods like demon clans, she is the symbol of Truth and Wisdom, she is venerated by all the deities, I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to protect us from all the perils. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga, who is mounted on her celestial vehicle lion, she has three eyes, she is wielded with Shanka and Chakra, she fulfils the desires of her devotees, she destroys the enemies, she is worshiped by the whole of the Universe, she is decked in various precious ornaments all over her body, she is decked in magnificent crown decorated with crescent moon, she has lustrous limbs, she is compassionate, I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to eradicate all the perils in our lives. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is colossal fire against mass of cotton like all the perils, she is Lord Aditya against the ignorance in the hearts of her passionate devotees, she is Kalpavruksha which fulfils all the desires of her passionate devotees, she is cool rays of moon against the scorching heat like poverty, she is the lion against the elephant sized sins, she is the eagle against the serpent like Time, she will be eulogized by the virtuous people. I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is incarnated as Nandaja for the annihilation of Shumbha Nishumbha, she is incarnated as Bhramari, Durga, and Aruna for the annihilation of demons, she is personified as Bheema, Shakambari and Rakthadhantha for the annihilation of enemies, I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Durga to protect us from all the perils in our lives.
