Sri Mukunda Mukthavali 1 -10 - Lyrics and meanings

I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Mukunda/ Balagopala who has the complexion of dark clouds, he is decked in Chambaka flower on his ears, he has beautiful smile on his lotus like face, he is attired in majestic golden color garments, his beautiful hair locks are decked in feathers of peacock, and he is the essence of the Universe.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Balagopala, who has the complexion of dark clouds, he spread immense joy to the cow herds and young maidens of Vraja, he is the Kalpavruksha for the people who are surrendered to him, he is attired in marvelous garments that has the resemblance to lightning, he is prostrated by Rishis and sages, he dwells in the hearts of virtuous people, he is the destroyer of demons.   I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Balagopala, who has the complexion of dark clouds, he performed various Leelas/childhood pranks, he raised the Mount Govardhana to protect the people of Vraja, he takes immense joy in playing melodious music on flute, he initiated amorous sport with the young maidens of Vraja, and he is decked in various flower garlands.   I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Balagopala, who has beautiful smile on his lips, he takes immense pleasure in the melodious music of flute, he has attractive hair lock, he plays childhood prank with the young maidens of Vraja, he crushed the pride of Lord Indhra, he is attired in golden colored garments, and he has the complexion of blue lily.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Balagopala who finds immense pleasure in playing music on flute, his beautiful hair locks are decked in feathers of peacock, he is the annihilator of demons, he is the ocean of mercy, he performs various Leela/childhood pranks for the welfare of the Universe, he is most favorite to Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, he has the complexion of dark clouds.  I shall prostrate before supreme Lord Balagopala who has the luster superior to moon, he has performed various childhood pranks, he is holding Kandhu on his hand, he is the darling of young maidens of Vraja, he is completely smeared in dust and holding flute on his hand, he controls the cattle with sweet words, he is the son of Nandhagopa.  I shall prostrate before Lord Mukunda who is the slayer of demon Shankhachooda, he is the darling of the young maidens of Vraja, he dwells in the minds of virtuous people, he is decked in feathers of peacock on his beautiful hair locks,  he is decked in Vanamala, he explores through the houses made of creepers, he is decorated in jasmine flowers on his ears.  I shall earnestly pray to Lord Mukunda to protect us.  I shall meditate upon Lord Govinda who has the eyes resemblance to lotus flower, he crushed the pride of Lord Indhra by obstructing the Yaga as a consequence Lord Indhra washed off the entire Gokula with heavy down pour,  he raised the Mount Govardhan in order to protect the people of Gokula, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Govinda to protect us.  I shall meditate upon Lord Mukunda who is wielded in Sharnga, he is decked in garlands made of precious pearl that extends extreme luster, he entice the young maidens of cow herds, he is the destroyer of Kamsa and various demons, he finds immense pleasure in playing melodious music on flute.  I shall earnestly pray to Sharngi to provide us firm devotion.  I shall meditate upon supreme Lord Mukunda who finds immense joy in amorous sports with the young maidens of Vraja and various childhood pranks, he has the complexion of dark clouds, he fulfils all the desires of young maidens of Vraja, he is eulogized by Sages and Rishis, he destroys all the sins, I shall earnestly pray to Lord Mukunda to protect us.
