I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she symbolizes aupiciousness, she is Vani who is the Goddess of speech, her lotus feet are worshiped by Suras and illustrious Rishis and Sages, she is the essence of Veda, she is personified as Shivaa who is the provider of all kinds of auspiciousness, she is worshiped in the whole Universe, she is beyond human intellect, she is Shakthi who has various incarnations, she is storehouse of virtues, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she is unblemished, she represents Sathvik nature, she destroys perils and miseries of the worshiper, she has no specific form, she is the source of Universe and its living beings, she is pure, she is incomparable, she is supreme ascetic, she is primeval deity, she is illustrious, she is worshiped by Surasa and Asuras, she represents sacred Veda and scriptures, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she undertakes severe austerities and penances, she fulfils all the desires of her passionate devotees, she eradicates all kinds of distress of her passionate devotees, she is compassionate, she is easily attainable to her worshiper, she provides abundance of boons and pieities, she eradicates worldly bondages of the worshiper, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she is worshiped by illustrious Sages and Rishis, she is  wise, she is supreme consort of Lord Shiva, she augments the intellect of the worshiper, she eradicates sorrows in the Universe, she eradicates the darkness of ignorance in her worshiper, she is incomparable, she is divine personified and deserved to be venerated, she represents all Agama Shashthras, she guides us to cross the ocean of Samsara safely, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she has no birth, she has various incarnations, she is pure, she eradicates Thamoguna/lethargy in worshiper, she is the essence of Shruthi and melodious sounds, she is  honorable, she represents richness, she is too compassionate to her worshiper, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she is the source of Universe and its living beings, she is embodied as Universe, she is the destroyer of miseries and sorrows in the world of Samsara, she is extremely valorous and courageous, she undertakes severe penances, she is embodied as sacred water course, she is supreme Goddess who represents all the female deities, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she is clear-sighted, clever, enlightened, wise etc.. she represents intellect, she removes dullness, insensibilities and sluggishness, in her worshiper, she is golden  complexioned, she symbolizes virtues, she is eulogized by illustrious poets, she represents wisdom and knowledge, she is Bhagavathi who have numerous glorious myths, I shall meditate upon Goddess Gayathri who is the provider of happiness and prosperity, she is eternal, she is serene, she is eulogized by learned people, she is the essence of Shruthi, she is widely eulogized and meditated and remembered on daily basis by Surapathi/Lord of Lords, she is Shakthi and she should be worshiped and eulogized always, she gets easily pleased with the recitation of sacred chants and worship, Gayathri Ashtakam is highly propitious hymn should be recited with sincere devotion and faith, whoever reads or listens to it would remain fortunate with the blessings of Goddess Sri Gayathri.

The glorious verses praising the splendor of Goddess Sri Durga is composed by Rishi Mahavishnu and Rishi Maheshvara, it has Anushtup as Chandhass, presiding deity is Sri Durgaparameshvari,  Hram as Beejam, Hreem as Shakthi, Hroom as Keelakam, it is recited to perform Japa Homa and Archana, inorder to get fulfiled all the desires of the worshiper.  I shall prostrate before Goddess Sri Durga who is absolute truth, she is easily attainable for the virtuous, she showers abundance of boons and prosperity, she is Bhavani who eradicates wordly bondages and relieve the souls from repeated births, she is Arya/excellent, Durga, and Jaya/unconquerable, she is safest heaven to her passionate devotees, she have three eyes and she is wielded in powerful trident and vicious weapon Pinaka, she is chithra who symbolizes manifolds, chanda/fierce, Ghanda/decked in garlands of bell, she undertakes severe austerities and penances, she symbolizes intellect, mind, ego etc.. she is Chidhroopa who is wise, she symbolizes intellect, she is Anantha who is eternal, she is  Bhavani who can be gracious as well as indefinite, she guides us throught he righteous path, she is personified as Shambhavi/consort of Shambu, Devamatha/Adithi, she is thoughtful and fond of precious gems, she symbolizes all art forms and knowledge, she is Dhakshakanya who is the daughter of Dhakshaprajapathi, she obstructed the grand Yajja of Dhakshaprajapathi, she is Aparna who undertakes austerities without consuming even leaves, she represents all colors, she is Padala/Durga, she is attired in majestic silk garment, she is decked in magnificent anklets that creates melodious music, she is Eshani who is the consort of Eshvara, she is Empress of the supreme abode of Mount Kailash, she is unfathomable and extremely valorous, she is Rudrani who has fierce form, she is supremely gorgeous among the female deities, she is personified as Vanadurga,  and Mathangi who is the daughter of Sage Mathanga, she has various incarnations as Bhrami, Maheshvari, Indhri, Kaumari, Vaishnavi, Chamunda, Varahi, Lakshmi etc. she has assumed the form of Purusha as well, she is Vimala who is unblemished, she symbolizes wisdom and knowledge, righteous deeds, she is imperishable, she is the provider of supreme wisdom and knowledge, she is copious, and compassionate, she crushed the pride of Mahishasura, Madhukaitabha, and  Chanda Munda, she symbolizes all Shashthra, she is the destroyer of Dhanava, she carries numerous weapons in her hands, she is decked in Asthra and Shashthra as well, she is Bhadhrakali, she is youthful, she is personified as young maiden, she is courteous and she can be proud as well, she has various vicious forms, she carries the whole Universe in her womb, she is the provider of valor to worshiper, she has dreadful appearance, she is highly enthusiastic and most powerful, she represents colossal fire, she is fierce, she is Kalarathri/dark hours of the night, she undertakes severe penances/Thapasvini, she is personified as Narayani, Mahadevi, Vishnumaya, Shivathmika, Shivadhoothi, Karali, Anantha, Parameshvari, Kathyayini, Mahavidhya, Mahamedha, Gauri, Sarasvathi, Savithri, Bhramavadhini etc… she represents all philosophies and  sacred hymns etc.. The above are the various sacred names of Goddess Mahadevi, it should be recited on daily basis with utmost faith and devotion, it will eradicates intimidation from enemies and poverty, it provides all the richness and happiness, students who are desired for supreme knowledge would attain the same, worshiper who are desired for wealth would attain the same, young who desires for appropriate companion would attain the same, worshiper who desires to get rid of Rinas would attain the same, childless couple would attain virtuous progeny, worshiper who is troubled by various illnesses would get rid of the same, worshiper would attain abundance of wealth and success in all endeavor, worshiper should venerate Goddess Mahadevi to attain all that desired, it is highly propitious to worship Goddess Durga with  Kumkum/vermilion, Bilvapathra/bale leaves, various fragrant ingredients, and crimson colored fragrant flowers.

Akileshi  kindly shower your mercy upon us,  she is Vishvambara who carries whole Universe in her womb, she is omnipresent, she is mighty Goddess and promising as well, she is unconquerable, she dwells in the peaks of Mount Vindhyachala, she has beautiful face resembles to full moon, she is merciful, she is the mother of Universe and its living beings, she has beautiful attractive eyes resembles to lotus flower petals, she is graceful, she is deserved to be meditated.  The above are the glorious verses of Durgashtakam should be recited in the early hours of dawn, it would fulfils all the desires of the worshiper  with the grace of Lord Hari and Hara, worship of Goddess Durga with various Upacharas/prescribed rites and offerings, would provide all that desired by the worshiper.

I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who is personified as Kathyayani/daughter of Sage Kathyayana, she is Mahamaya who is a great illusionist, she is wielded in Gadga, Bana/Arrow, Dhanus/bow, and she is personified as Chandi who is wielded in Gadga, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who is born as daughter of Vasudeva/Yogamaya, she is personified as Kali, she is the brother of Vasudeva/Lord Krishna, she is embodied as Vasundhara/Earth, she symbolizes wealth, prosperity, happiness, etc.. I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who undertakes Yoganidra/cosmic sleep, she undergoes Mahanidhra at the time of delusion, she is Yogamaya who is the daughter of Devaki and Vasudeva, she is Maheshvari who is the consort of Lord Maheshvara, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who is wielded in Shankha/conch, Chakra/wheel and Gadha/mace, she hold Sharnga/divine bow in her hands, she is attired in majestic yellow garment, she symbolizes good fortune, auspiciousness, happiness etc.. she symbolizes Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharvana Veda, she is Universal spirit, she is absolute Bhramam, she is Bhrami, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who is born in the illustrious clan of Vrishni, she is the sister of Vishnunatha, she represents the illustrious clan of Vrishni, I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, she witnesses the happenings in the universe/watchful, she symbolizes elixir of nectar, she has beautiful matted hair locks,  I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Durga who has eight powerful arms that holds vicious weapons, she is worshiped during Ashtami and Navami, she has boisterous voice, she represents good fortune,prosperity, auspiciousness, happiness etc.. Whoever reads or listens to the glorious verses of Durga Ashtakam with utmost faith and devotion would get all their desires fulfilled, ultimately attain the abode of Goddess Durga.

I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess  Kameshvari who is adorned in Ravi/surya and Shashi/moon as ear ornaments, she has the luster of Kumkum as well as yellow, she is decked in various ornaments of precious yellow metal and bells, she have insatiable tongue and three eyes, her hands are in Abhya and Varadha hastha posture and two  long extended hands in Mudhra posture , she venerated by all the deities and Kings, she is Siddhakameshvari.  I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Kamakhya who is seated on the freshly bloomed lotus flower in the early hours of dawn, she is seated on the crimson colored lotus flower in Padmasaposture, she is youthful, her beautiful curly heavy hair locks are kept open, she has attractive physical features and beautiful limbs, she is wise, she is attired in the crimson colored majestic garment resembles to sun in the early hours of dawn, she is Sarvakameshvari.  I shall prostrate before supreme Goddess Kamakhya who have various incarnations, she has pleasing disposition,  she has beautiful curly hair locks and beautiful line of teeth, she has the luster of moon, I shall envision supreme Goddess who has supreme radiance,  she  is all pervading, she symbolizes fire, wind and sky, she fulfils all the desires of the righteous people.

The sacred armor of Goddess Sri Kamakhya was composed by Muni Bhrihaspathi praising the splendor of Goddess Kamakhya, it has anushtup as Chandhass.
