My humble salutation to Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi, whoever consumes the water sanctified by reciting Lakshmi
Hrudhayam, there will be no one born with bad luck in their clan. Whoever recites or listens to the glorious
verses of Lakshmi hrudhayam with utmost devotion and dedication during waxing
period of moon/Shuklapaksha, or Ramothsava/Navarathri days, would be blessed
with abundance of wealth. Whoever
recites or listens to the glorious verses of Lakshmi Hrudhayam with utmost
devotion and austerities for a year would be blessed with abundance of richness
like Lord Indra. Whoever recites or
listens to the glorious verses of Lakshmi Hrudhayam with utmost devotion and
dedication to Lord Vishnu and perform service to the devotees of Lord Hari,
along with utmost faith and devotion to preceptor would attain liberation from
the cycles of birth and death. Oh! Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, Oh! Matha, Oh! Sri, I
shall earnestly pray to blesses us with Prithvipathithvam/King on earth,
Purushoththamathvam/ideal among men, Vibhoothi/everlasting glory,
Vividharthasiddhi/various richness and boons, Sampoorna Keerthi/eternal fame,
Bahuvarsha Bhogam/pleasures for several years etc.. Oh! Goddess Sri Bhargavi, I shall earnestly
pray to blesses us with Vadharthasiddhi/aptitude in debate, attractiveness,
long life, happiness in the married life, virtuous offspring and grandchildren,
various richness, etc.. in all our births.
Oh! Sri, kindly blesses with precious ornaments, gems and jewels in our
homes, Oh! Sri, Kindly blesses with abundance of grains in our homes, Oh! Sri,
kindly blesses with all the auspiciousness in our homes, Oh! Sri, kindly
blesses with all the richness in our homes.
I shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi
along with her consort Lord Narayana, she is most desirable to Lord Achyutha,
she has the effulgence of crores of Aditya, she has most attractive face, she
is attired in majestic garments which has the resemblance to lightning, she is
decked in various precious ornaments which spreads extreme radiance, she
carries golden vessel filled with the seeds of pomegranate fruit and lotus
flowers on both the hands, she is the safe haven for her passionate devotees.
