|| Jai Sriman Narayana ||

|| Shankara ||

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, Oh! Himagirisuthey/daughter of mount Himavan, I  shall envision your majestic golden crown worn on the head is decorated with the precious gems of Ruby which represents twelve Adityas and the lustrous crescent moon on the divine crown that causes diverse colors of reflection of a rainbow, the bow of Lord Indra.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, Oh! Consort of Lord Shiva,  I  shall envision the luster of your long & thick curly hair locks resembles the dark forest of fully bloomed blue lotuses, imagine that all those alluring flowers of Lord Indra’s garden resides in your beautiful hair locks to enjoy the richness of natural fragrance of it.  I shall earnestly pray that your lustrous hair lock that would remove the darkness of ignorance in our hearts.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, the flawless parting line on your hair resembles the overflowing canal that carries the brimming waves of your beautiful face.  The streak of vermilion on the parting line appears like the rays of early dawn, made it more attractive with the long dark curly hair locks.   I  shall earnestly pray that the parting line on your hair shall provide protection and happiness.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, You have a striking face and shimmering teeth with beautiful smile on it.  Lord Shiva burnt Lord Manmatha with his third eye; his eyes are like ravenous honey bees obsessed with the beauty of your face and its forelocks that are attractive like swarm of honey bees making fun of the beauty of the lotuses.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, The crescent moon on the magnificent crown on your head spreads intense luster on your forehead, hence the luster of the crescent moon and the exquisiteness of your face resembles the full moon pouring out nectar from it.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, who is capable to dispel extreme fears and anxieties in the Universe, your wide arched eye brows are like the bow of Lord Manmatha, your sparkling eyes are the string of the bow, while the middle portion of the eyes are hidden by the forearm of Lord Manmatha.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, your eyes resembles Lord Aditya who illuminate with it rays on daytime and Lord Chandra who cools down the night respectively.  Your attractive third eye has the resemblance of slightly blossomed golden lotus which creates twilight.

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, Oh ! Vishala who has wide momentary look, Oh! Kalyani who provide fortunes and whose beauty cannot be defeated by blue lilies of Ayodhya.  The unrestricted flow of mercy and compassion from your eyes are Dhara/streams which is sweet / Madhura like nectar, they are intense as Abhogavathi which provides protection to the Avanthi/ Universe.  Your merciful glances symbolizes the perpetual victory/Vijaya, Vishala, Kalyani, Ayodhya, Dhara, Madhura, Abhogavathi, Avanthi and Vijaya

Oh! Goddess Sri Shakthi, The recitation of sacred hymns praising the glories of you is equivalent to the flower bunch, your beautiful long and attractive eyes are like  honey bees which relish the nectar brimming from it.  Therefore, the third eye on your attractive forehead appears to be red with envy.
