Sage Upamanyu continued "These
virtuous people eradicate their sins by pious deeds and develop intense
devotion which is difficult to find even in deities. Their intense devotion to Lord Rudra is firm
and incessant, which is attainable only through his grace and they remain exceptional
among the devotees, ultimately they will attain the abode of Lord. Whoever worships Lord Maheshwara who is
compassionate, would be protected from the whirlpool of Samsara, even the
deities get rid of their repeated births with their strict austerities and
penance. Oh! Lord Krishna, the above
narrated were the words of Sage Dhandi who has the effulgence of Lord Indra and
refined wisdom has eulogized Supreme Lord Shiva who is the cause and effect of
the Universe and attired in elephant skin.
Lord Bhrama memorized these sacred verses and recited before Lord
Shankara with utmost devotion. These
sacred verses gives inspiration for pious deeds, it helps to remain pure,
eradicates all the sins, it provides refined knowledge about Yogic practices
and liberty from the cycles of birth and death.
Whoever recites these sacred verses praising Lord Shankara with utmost
devotion and dedication would attain highest of the status of Sankhya
Yoga. Whoever recites these holy verses before
Lord Rudra with intense devotion, they would get their desires fulfilled. This is highly confidential and sacred hymns preserved
in the heart of Lord Bhrama, later it was taught to Lord Indra and it was
passed on to Yama."
