I shall
prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells on the sacred river banks of Kamba
in the city of Kanchi, she has large raised bosom, decked in crescent moon which
shower nectar like cool rays, and she is the personification of auspiciousness
and amorous sport of Lord Manmatha. I
shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who shimmers on the auspicious sanctum
of lap of Lord Parameshwara, to remove the darkness of ignorance in me. She has the luster of emerald, her foot
nails has the luster of Lord Chandra, it has constant touch with the crown of
the deities prostrate before her, and she is the supreme Goddess dwells in the
sacred city of Kanchi. She reveals her
eternal presence as an attractive stream of light on the river banks of Kamba,
it provides immense bliss to the eyes of virtuous people. This stream of light lures the heart of Lord
Manmatha and it is superior to the beauty of cluster of clouds. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I shall earnestly
pray to fulfill my desires, she multiplies the beauty of Thundeera/Kanchi with
her eternal presence, she has the luster of Neelothpala, she has beautiful
smile like nectar, she has striking curve due to the heaviness of large raised
bosom, she is the pieties of Lord Parameshwara.
Victory to Goddess Sri Kamakshi ! She is the pool of mercy to the
worshipper, she is the remover of grief and sorrows of Samsara, she is the
pinnacle of Veda, she is fond of exploring the sacred city of Kanchi, she is
the manifestation of terminology, she is the female energy of Lord
Parameshwara, and she is the daughter of Mount Himavan/Parvathasuthe. I shall earnestly pray to Goddess Sri Kamakshi
who personifies as proficiency in poets to protect us, she is the
personification of fortuity of Himavan, she is the creator of the Universe and
its living beings, she personifies as the amorous sport of Lord Manmatha, she
is close associate of the sacred river Kamba, radiance of her lotus feet put
the lotus flower into shame, she is the Empire of Lord Thripurari. I
shall meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who resides on the sacred river banks
of Kamba, She has beautiful thin waist, she has the luster of Thapiccha flower,
she has large and raised bosom, she is decked in crescent moon on her beautiful
hair locks, she is most desirable to Lord Parameshwara, her lotus feet is
venerated by all the deities. Oh!
Janani, Oh! Vagdevi, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is the remover of darkness
of ignorance, I shall earnestly pray to fill my heart with your eternal
presence, I shall utter your glories persistently, kindly shower mercy on
us. Oh ! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I shall
earnestly pray for your attractive glance which put the honey bees into shame,
to remove my miseries and sorrows, kindly shower proficiency in the usage of
words and clarity of speech like the powerful water current of sacred river
Ganga. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi who
resides on the sacred river banks of Kamba, I shall earnestly pray to remove the
darkness of ignorance in me and eradicate the suffering of Samsara, ultimately
provide the abode of deities.
