Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, you are the personification of the pieties of Lord Parameshwara, effulgence from your face has the resemblance to Lord Chandra of pournami, you are eulogized by Lord Indra and deities, you are the remover of grief and sorrows of virtuous people, you are the provider of intelligence and power of speech as well.  She originates from the glaciers of the highest of peak and she is visualized by the virtuous people, she is capable to remove the sufferings of the people instantly, whoever remember her glories, she is the ocean of mercy, she dwells on the river banks of Kamba and it is surprising to witness that she reveals various incarnations and her eternal presence.  She is the protector of the Universe and its living beings with her effulgence, she has attained half of the body of her consort Lord Parameshwara with her divine effulgence, and she is decked in the crescent moon on her crown, Mount Himalaya shine with glorious bluishness in the effulgence of Goddess Sri Kamakshi.  She has beautiful long eyes stretched up to ears, she has large raised bosom extended up to shoulders, and she has gorgeous face, she is adorned with beautiful crown and attractive jewels all over the body, she has the attractiveness that overpower the beauty of lotus flowers, she has melodious voice, she has beautiful gait that put the swan into shame, she is the personification of intelligence dwells on the sacred land of Kanchi.  Oh! Ambika, Oh! Goddess sri Kamakshi who is decked crescent moon on her beautiful crown, I shall earnestly pray to envision your magnificent form dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi, she has beautiful long eyes that stretched up to ears, she is radiant, she is ever youthful, she has large raised bosom, she has long beautiful curly hairs stretched up to knee length.  I shall surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is the pride of the sacred city of Kanchi, she is the essence of Veda as field for her game, stream of poetic skills of intellectuals as the seeds, she is capable to eradicate all the sins of her worshipper, she has the brilliance of the precious gem Indraneelamani, she is the manifestation of amorous sport of Lord Manmatha who adorned in cupid flower arrows.  She is nectar like sweet, she is decked in crescent moon on her crown, she has the radiance of Lord Chandra, she has beautiful smile on her face, she has large and raised bosom, she has thin waist, and she is Jaganmohini dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi. Whoever, even the unwise attains the cool rays of her beautiful smile that has the resemblance to Lord Chandra would be blessed with proficiency in poetic skills and cleverness in nectar like speech and remain intellectuals.  It destroys the pride in them.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are the personification of auspiciousness, your gaze has the capabilities to provide all those auspiciousness, your beautiful smile has the resemblance to the sacred river Ganga’s union with river Yamuna, your lips has the resemblance to the sun rays in the early evening, your gem studded ear rings gives out the luster of Lord Agni.  Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, Oh! Jagadamba, who dwells in the sacred city of Kanchi with the divine sounds of bells of her beautiful waist belt that resembles to magnificent garland, she is decked in crescent moon on the crown, she is eulogized by the intellectuals who has refined poetic skills, she finds immense delight in the grace of praising her luster.
