humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, she is ever youthful, golden color
complexioned, prominent in amorous sport and passionate to wed Lord
Parameshwara, she is decked in flower garlands.
Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are attired in majestic white garments,
seated on the lotus flower, carries sacred scriptures and garlands of Rudraksha
on the hand and divine musical instrument Veena on the other, you have
attractive eyes, you are Vairinchi/Goddess Sri Saraswathi consort of Lord
Bhrama. Oh! Matha, you have glorious
form as Goddess Thripura, with saffron color complexioned, you are decked in
bleeding skulls as garlands that discolored your body, you carry sacred
scriptures, beads, on both the hands along with Abhyahastham and Varada Hastham
postures. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I
shall meditate upon your magnificent form as Goddess Sri Prathyangira, who
adorned in various precious jewels and ornaments, holds Pasam and Angusam on
hands, you are a great warrior, and your luster is indescribable. Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, you are residing in
my heart, you are most desirable and attractive with your beautiful face, you
have stunning features and large raised bosom, you reside in the sacred city of
Kanchi, only virtuous could envision your presence. Oh! Maheshi, Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I
meditate upon your glorious form as Kundalini and your graceful movement
through the Shadchakras such as Mooladharam, Manipoorakam, Swadhishtanam,
Anahatham, Vishuddhi and Agna Chakram. Oh!
Goddess Sri Kamakshi, pride of Lord Parameshwara who is the slayer of Lord
Yama, you dwell in and out of all the living creatures, and you are the
provider of eternal bliss to your ardent devotees. Oh! Amba, you have sweetest and melodious
voice that originates from the nest like neck which gives out the impression of
a parrot that kindled the desires in Manmatha, your lips have resemblance to bimba
fruits. Victory to Goddess Jagadamba !
Victory to Goddess Shivaa/consort of Lord Shiva !, Victory to Goddess Sri Kamakshi ! Victory to
the daughter of Mount Himavan ! Victory to Goddess Sri Maheshwari/Consort of
Lord Mahesha, Victory to the Mother of the Universe! Whoever
recites the sacred hymns of Arya Shathakam would be blessed by Goddess Sri
Kamakshi, to pronounce the most divine streams of nectar like the above verses.
