My
humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the delight of Lord
Parameshwara, annihilator of Lord Manmatha, I am in a state of ecstasy after
witnessing the glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the sacred
city of Kanchi, she is the source of brilliance to the Universe, she is the
provider of rebirth to Lord Manmatha.
She is the daughter of mount Himavan, dwells on the river banks of
Kampa, she is the personification of auspiciousness, she is unblemished,
worshipped by Yathis, eulogized by Vedas, and she is decked in crescent moon on
her attractive hair locks. I earnestly
pray to attain sincere devotion at the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who delightfully
resides on the river banks of Kampa, she is enthusiastic and proficient in
amorous sport, and she is the magnificent family deity. She is the personification of eternal wisdom,
she is the virtuous consort of Lord Parameshwara, she has adorned Lord Agni on
her third eye, she is indescribable beauty, she has marvelous symbol of her youthful
consort on her body as Ardhanareeshwara, and she joyfully resides under the
mango tree. I meditate upon the
glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the pride of Lord Manmatha, holds
arrow of fresh alluring flowers; she sanctified the city of Kanchi with her
eternal presence. She is the
manifestation of Shadthvatheetha Roopini, she has the complexion of saffron
color, and she is compassionate and ever youthful. I have witnessed the magnificent form of Goddess
Sri Kamakshi who resides in Kanchi, she is incomparable and she is the wealth
of this sacred city, she is the personification of eternal bliss, she is
crimson color complexioned. I meditate
upon the magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who carries Pasam, Angusam,
bow and arrow, she dwells in Kamakotipeedam, she is adorned the crescent moon
on her beautiful hair lock, she has attractive crimson color complexion. She has mesmerizing lips which has the
resemblance to Bimba fruits, she has attractive smile, she is the remover of
ignorance in her worshipper, she is the mother of the Universe, and she resides
in my heart as well. Therefore I have no
need to desire for anything. I am
fortunate to attain Goddess Sri Kamakshi who dwells in the middle part of Srichakra and blissfully resides on the magnificent
bed of Lord Sadashiva, decorated with fresh alluring
flowers.
