My
humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi, I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi
who is fond of keeping the sacred city of Kanchi as her place of abode, she is
the manifestation of sacred Veda,
Yanthra, Manthra and Thanthra, she is the consort of Lord Parameshwara
who is the enemy of Lord Manmatha. I meditate upon the glorious form of Goddess
Sri Kamakshi who has Lord Aditya and Lord Chandra as her attractive bosom, she
is sanctified the sacred city of Kanchi with her eternal presence, she is the
personification of Prakruthi/Vyoma, bindu and nadha, and she is ever youthful. I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is
the divine cure for the fever of Samsara, she has the complexion of lightning,
dwells on the river banks of Kampa. I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi who has firm
and large bosom, she is delight of Lord Parameshwara, enemy of Lord Manmatha, and
she is proficient in the amorous sport. I
have witnessed Goddess Sri Kamakshi in the sacred city of Kanchi, who holds
Pasam and Angusam on her hand, she has marvelous legend, and she is the essence
of Veda, she is the empire of Lord Parameshwara/shoolapani. I shall
surrender to the lotus feet of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the creator of all
the living beings, she has various incarnations, she is the dweller of the
sacred city of Kanchi, she is incomparable, she is primeval, she is the personification
of eternal wisdom. Oh! Goddess Sri
Kamakshi whoever venerates you, even if he is unable to speak or going through
most difficult times in life, he will be considered as the most admirable soul
in the Universe I shall surrender at the lotus feet of Goddess
Sri Kamakshi, who is Panchadhashakshari, she is fond of residing in the sacred
city of Kanchi, and she is most desirable to Lord Parameshwara. I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamakshi, who is
the personification of sound/terminology which is classified into four sections
such as Para, Pashyanthi, Madhyama and Vaikari, she is eulogized by the
intellectuals. I have witnessed the
glorious form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi as Preceptor, resides in the Kamakoti
Peedam, she carries the sweetest of sugar
cane as bow, she is primeval, she is personified as terminology, she is the
representation of Vidhyaroopini.
