My
humble salutation to Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the liberator from the ocean
of Samsara, I meditate upon Goddess Sri Kamakshi dwells in the lotus of chakras, resides in the
sacred city of Kanchi, she is the personification of eternal wisdom and
knowledge. I meditate upon the
magnificent form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi, decked in glorious crown decorated
with the crescent moon, she is unblemished and remains Chithswaroopa, she is eternal,
she dwells in the sacred scriptures and Vedantha. I
shall surrender to the marvelous form of Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is the disciple
of illustrious preceptors like Lord Parameshwara, dwells in the sacred Kamakoti
Peedam, she is the personification of the Universe and she is crimson color
complexioned. I earnestly praying for
the blessings of Goddess Sri Kamakshi whose skin texture has the resemblance of
sunlight at the time of sunset, she is venerated by ardent devotees with utmost
faith and devotion, she is most admirable deity in the sacred city of Kanchi, and
she is Goddess Uma. Oh! Goddess Sri
Kamakshi, whoever venerates your lotus feet with utmost faith and devotion would
be liberated from the cycles of birth and death, if it is not so, it will be like
floating rock on the water. I prostrate
before Goddess Sri Kamakshi who is decked in marvelous ear stud, ever youthful,
and she is the personification of Kundalini, Chandi, she is the provider of
auspiciousness, she is the creator of all the living beings in the Universe,
she is the manifestation of Trigunas/Swathik, Rajass and Tamass, she is the
remover of darkness/ignorance in the heart of worshipper, she is imperceptible,
she is the personification of Preceptor. Oh! Shiva, Shiva ! it is surprising to note that whoever blessed by
Goddess Sri Kamakshi would remain flawless and desire less, they would treat
the woods are equivalent to comfortable homes and enemy as their associates,
and remain unattached to any worldly affairs.
Oh! Goddess Sri Kamakshi, consort of Lord Parameshwara who is the enemy
of Lord Manmatha, she is Goddess Sri Lalithambika/Kameshwari, she dwells in
Kamapeeda, she is the personification of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, she is proficient
in the amorous sports, she is Kamakoti, I earnestly pray to fulfill my desires. I prostrate before Goddess Sri Kamashi who
resides in the center part of the heart, in the middle portion of the forehead
and in the center part of head, her brilliance has the resemblances to Lord
Aditya, Lord Chandra and Indradhanuss.
